A leading global law firm is seeking a Mining Associate to join its Corporate and Project Energy & Transition practice in New York. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with significant mining infrastructure experience to work on sophisticated transactions at the intersection of energy, infrastructure and natural resources.

• Advise clients on sophisticated mining infrastructure transactions.
• Handle financing and debt finance transactions.
• Work on M&A, joint ventures and strategic investments .
• Advise on offtake agreements and commercial arrangements.
• Support renewable energy and energy transition transactions.
• Work with sophisticated clients on complex, cross-border matters.

✅ They are looking for:

• 3–8 years of relevant legal experience , ideally involving mining infrastructure.
• Strong experience with financing and debt finance transactions.
• Experience handling M&A, joint ventures and offtakes .
• Renewable energy or broader energy transition experience is highly valued.
• Stellar academic credentials.
• Comparable large law firm or sophisticated in-house experience preferred.
• Strong drafting, analytical and client-management skills.
