Mining Environment Jr. Foreman

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and collect environmental data including air quality, water quality and soil conditions at designated monitoring points
• Conduct routine environmental inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Indonesian environmental regulations and company policies
• Prepare environmental monitoring reports and maintain comprehensive environmental records
• Support the implementation of environmental management systems and procedures across mining operations
• Assist in the development and execution of environmental mitigation and remediation programmes
• Conduct environmental awareness and training sessions for operational staff
• Liaise with environmental contractors and government agencies on regulatory matters
• Identify potential environmental risks and recommend corrective actions
• Support the management of waste streams and recycling programmes
• Participate in environmental impact assessments and baseline studies

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of Indonesian environmental regulations and mining legislation
• Knowledge of environmental monitoring techniques and methodologies
• Proficiency in data analysis and environmental reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Familiarity with environmental management systems and ISO 14001 standards (preferred)
• Experience in mining operations or related industries (preferred)
• Willingness to work on-site in a remote mining location
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
