Mining Operations Supervisor

Position Summary

Lead daily mining operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while achieving production targets in accordance with the mine plan and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily open-pit mining production activities and achieve production targets.
• Coordinate mining contractors, supervisors, dispatch, and equipment utilization.
• Monitor productivity, ore/waste movement, stripping ratio, and operational KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, SOPs, and Indonesian mining regulations.
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and recommend operational improvements.
• Coordinate closely with Mine Planning, Geology, Survey, and HSE teams.
• Lead and develop site operational teams through coaching and performance management.
• Support operational readiness during mine expansion and infrastructure development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or other related background
• Minimum 3 years in mining operations
• Strong experience in open-pit nickel mining.
• Experienced in managing mining contractors and large site workforces.
• Good understanding of production planning, equipment productivity, and mine operational KPIs.
• Familiar with Indonesian mining regulations and K3 Mining standards.
