Mining Supervisors - 4 Year Open Pit Project

Big Yellow was formed in 2021 to meet a gap in the market where small to medium sized mining enterprises require a mining services company that also provides the leadership, technical expertise and management they need.

We have commenced early works on our new 4 year open pit gold project in the Mid West, and are looking to welcome new Supervisors on site in Mid October as the build teams put the finish touches on our new Hitachi & CAT equipment.  

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in leading Multiple 3-4 dig unit operations (EX3600)
• A practical, hands on approach in the field
• Proven experience leading 20-25 person teams in open pit gold mining activities
• A calm approach to leadership of people and fostering of teamwork
• A commitment to safety - identifying and rectifying hazards, minimizing risk and returning the team home safely at the end of the shift
• Day to day use and Troubleshooting experience in GPS systems an advantage
• A desire to upskill crew members and engage in their personal development

Essential Criteria:

• WA S26 Statutory Supervisor Qualifications - Exam & Modules
• Able to pass Pre Employment Medical & Drug Testing
• Current WA Drivers License
• Police Clearance for gold site access

Full time employment is offered working a 2&1 FIFO roster, with full camp facilities on offer.
