About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented MINT Assistant to support seed inventory management, seed processing, logistics coordination, and MINT system administration. This role is critical in ensuring accurate seed registration, inventory control, cold room management, and timely seed preparation and shipment to support research, nursery, and trialing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage post-harvest seed processing activities in accordance with quality standards and timelines.
• Conduct seed fumigation activities while ensuring compliance with HSE requirements.
• Manage seed registration processes accurately and on time through the MINT system.
• Support seasonal seed discard activities and inventory management processes.
• Prepare seeds for nursery trials, yield trials, and stakeholder requests based on breeding requirements.
• Coordinate seed shipments to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain germplasm and seed inventory in cold storage under proper conditions.
• Monitor and record temperature and humidity data within germplasm storage facilities.
• Maintain records of seed movement, distribution, and inventory transactions.
• Conduct germination testing to ensure seed viability and quality.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Seed Technology, Agronomy, or related fields.
• Experience in seed storage, inventory management, or seed operations is preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with MINT, SPIRIT, inventory systems, or agricultural databases is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills.
