MIS & BI Officer

About the role

The MIS & BI Officer designs and develops IT Data Warehouse solutions aligned with business needs and system evolution. This role involves designing and building ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) processes to prepare data for dashboards, reporting, and analysis, while providing comprehensive support for database systems, performance optimization, and data quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop IT Data Warehouse according to business requirements and system developments
• Design and build ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) processes to prepare data for dashboards, reporting, and analysis
• Monitor ETL jobs, scheduled jobs, and data processing; troubleshoot process failures
• Provide support for database systems and performance, including configuration optimization, database structure, and query optimization
• Support database design and SQL query creation for dashboards, reporting, and data analysis
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting according to Functional Design and user requirements
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checking to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Provide support for bug fixing, troubleshooting, and optimization of queries, ETL, dashboards, and reporting
• Support automated Matching Cost systems and develop data-driven solutions
• Develop or support backend services, APIs, and system integration related to MIS/BI needs and data processing

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Software Development, Backend Development, MIS/BI, Data Analysis, or related fields
• Proficiency in programming, particularly Go or Python, with understanding of backend development concepts, RESTful API, JSON, API authentication, and system integration
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, including SQL queries, database design, data processing, query optimization, and understanding of data modeling and Data Warehouse/Data Mart
• Understanding and experience with ETL/ELT and data integration using tools such as n8n, Talend, or similar tools; understanding of Business Intelligence, reporting, and dashboards
• Familiarity with Git and Jenkins for version control and CI/CD
• Experience with Power BI is a plus
• Experience with Docker, Linux/application deployment, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting is a plus
