MIS Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a data-driven and analytical Executive MIS with strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Python. The candidate will be responsible for developing MIS reports, dashboards, business insights, data analysis, and automation of recurring reporting processes.

Experience in the e-commerce industry will be an added advantage, particularly in areas such as sales, inventory, order management, fulfilment, logistics, returns, and customer analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and MIS reports for management and business teams.
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
• Use Python for data analysis, automation, data cleaning, and repetitive MIS/reporting activities.
• Build automated reporting solutions to reduce manual Excel-based processes.
• Consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources such as ERP, OMS, WMS, marketplaces, databases, and business applications.
• Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and consistency of MIS reports.
• Track and analyze key business KPIs and identify trends, gaps, and exceptions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
• Work closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, E-commerce, and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Translate business requirements into dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting automation.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards, queries, data sources, and reporting processes.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and data-driven insights to management as required.

Candidate Profile:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in MIS, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics.
• Mandatory Skills: Power BI, SQL & Python.
• Strong practical knowledge of Python for analytics and automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of business KPIs and data interpretation.
• Ability to independently manage reporting requirements from requirement gathering through dashboard/report delivery.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
