Role & responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing activities for Universal Music Group.
• Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepayments, deferred income, accrued income, cost transfers, and revenue reclassifications.
• Review Profit & Loss statements and General Ledger accounts for accuracy.
• Prepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Validate journal entries before posting.
• Manage cost centres and ensure timely month-end closure.
• Perform variance analysis and support financial planning.
• Prepare business reporting packs and management reports.
• Resolve client queries within agreed service levels.
• Support compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure timely financial reporting.
