MIS Executive / MIS Reporting Executive
Role Overview
The MIS Executive is responsible for collecting, consolidating, validating, and reporting operational data from project
sites, plants, or business units. The role supports management decision-making through accurate MIS reports,
performance trackers, dashboards, and timely follow-ups.
Core Responsibilities
Data Collection & Consolidation: Gather daily, weekly, and monthly data from project sites, plants, and business
units; consolidate information into standardized formats.
Report & Dashboard Generation: Prepare and maintain MIS reports, performance trackers, KPI summaries,
charts, and management dashboards.
¢ Data Validation & Accuracy: Verify and reconcile inputs received from site and cross-functional teams, identify
discrepancies, and maintain data integrity.
¢ Tracking & Follow-ups: Monitor operational KPIs, project trackers, safety incidents, and pending actions;
coordinate with relevant teams to support timely closure.
¢ Audit & Review Support: Provide accurate data and supporting records for management reviews, client meetings,
internal audits, and applicable statutory or EHS reviews.
¢ Documentation & Coordination: Maintain organized reporting files, update trackers within agreed timelines, and
communicate data gaps or reporting issues to stakeholders.
Key Requirements & Skills
¢ Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as IT, Commerce, Computer Applications, Statistics, or a
related discipline.
¢ Experience: Typically 14+ years of hands-on experience in MIS reporting, data coordination, or a similar role.
¢ MS Excel: Strong or advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS,
COUNTIFS, charts, and data formatting.
¢ Reporting Tools: Knowledge of databases or tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is an advantage.
¢ Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to identify data inconsistencies.
¢ Communication: Good written and verbal communication, coordination, and follow-up skills across teams.
