MIS IT Manager

About the Role

Our client is a leading Philippine digital technology and media solutions company looking for an MIS IT Manager to lead its MIS and IT operations and ensure that technology systems effectively support business needs.

This role is ideal for an IT professional with strong experience in MIS, IT infrastructure, systems management, business applications, and team leadership, with the ability to drive both day-to-day IT operations and continuous system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the company's MIS and IT operations, ensuring reliable and efficient IT services.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, networks, hardware, software, systems, and business applications.
• Ensure the availability, security, and reliability of critical IT systems.
• Oversee the company's Management Information Systems (MIS) and ensure accurate and timely information for business decision-making.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve IT systems, processes, and business applications.
• Lead system implementation, upgrades, integration, and other IT-related projects.
• Monitor system performance and ensure timely resolution of technical issues and incidents.
• Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, controls, and documentation.
• Oversee data backup, system security, access controls, and other IT risk management activities.
• Manage IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
• Prepare IT reports, budgets, and recommendations for management.
• Lead, coach, and develop the IT/MIS team.
• Work closely with various departments to understand business requirements and provide appropriate technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong background in MIS, IT operations, systems administration, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience managing business applications, databases, networks, hardware, and other IT systems.
• Experience in IT project management, system implementation, and system integration.
• Knowledge of IT security, data backup, access management, and IT controls.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in IT team management and people leadership.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
