Mis Manager

Basic Function

To manage and oversee accounting operations, payment processes, financial reporting, taxation, audits, MIS reporting, and compliance activities, while ensuring adherence to accounting standards, statutory regulations, and internal control frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities related to payments and accounts payable processes.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls over financial transactions.
• Review and scrutinize ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support the smooth functioning of the Accounts Payable (AP) team.

Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare and support the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure financial reporting complies with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare financial analysis reports and management presentations using PowerPoint.
• Generate and maintain Monthly MIS reports and Foreign Exchange (Forex) MIS.

Taxation & Compliance

• Assist in tax planning activities throughout the financial year.
• Manage monthly TDS payments and filing of TDS/TCS returns.
• Support annual corporate tax return filings.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable government, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

Audits & Controls

• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax auditors.
• Provide required documentation and information for audit completion.
• Assist in the timely completion of Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, and Tax Audit activities.

Related Party Transactions

• Handle Related Party Transaction (RPT) reconciliations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with related party transaction regulations and reporting requirements.

Business Support

• Present financial recommendations to management regarding short-term and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Perform additional finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.

Accountability

• Timely completion and support of Statutory, Internal, and Tax Audits.
• Accurate and timely monthly financial reporting.
• Preparation and submission of Monthly MIS reports.
• Compliance with taxation and statutory requirements.
• Effective management of accounting controls and payment processes.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting, Taxation, and Financial Reporting.
• Experience in Related Party Transaction (RPT) reconciliation.
• Expertise in Accounts Payable and Payment Accounting.
• Proficiency in Oracle ERP.
• Advanced MS Excel and good working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
