Job Summary

The MIS Manager will lead and oversee the company’s Management Information Systems (MIS) and IT Department, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company’s technology systems and information management. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is responsible for IT strategy, system improvements, data management, digital transformation, and the effective use of technology to support business operations.

The ideal candidate must have proven leadership experience in IT/MIS, strong technical and analytical skills, and practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies that can improve business processes, productivity, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the MIS/IT Department, including personnel, systems, projects, and daily operations.
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and systems aligned with the company’s business goals.
• Oversee the maintenance, security, and performance of IT infrastructure, networks, hardware, software, and business applications.
• Manage company databases, information systems, reports, and data integrity.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency through technology.
• Apply AI tools and technologies to business processes, reporting, data analysis, workflow automation, and productivity improvement.
• Evaluate, implement, and manage AI-powered solutions and other emerging technologies based on business needs.
• Ensure data privacy, cybersecurity, system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Manage IT projects, budgets, vendors, system upgrades, and technology-related costs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other departments and senior management.
• Prepare regular reports on IT performance, system issues, project progress, risks, and improvement initiatives for the COO.
• Establish IT standards, documentation, and procedures to ensure efficient and secure system operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing or leading an IT/MIS department or team.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, databases, information systems, cybersecurity, and system administration.
• Proficient in AI tools and technologies, with practical experience using AI to automate workflows, analyze data, improve reporting, or enhance business operations.
• Familiarity with AI integration, APIs, automation platforms, or AI-powered business applications is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Experience in budgeting, vendor management, and IT project implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading digital transformation or system integration projects.
• Knowledge of ERP, POS, inventory management, reporting, and business intelligence systems.
• Experience implementing AI-driven automation or data analytics solutions.
• Ability to assess new technologies and recommend practical solutions that deliver measurable business value.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a hands-on IT/MIS leader who can manage the department strategically and operationally. The successful candidate must have actual knowledge and practical experience with AI tools and applications, not merely an interest in learning about AI. The candidate should be capable of identifying opportunities, recommending solutions, and implementing technology initiatives that improve efficiency, security, and business performance.

Pay: Php60,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month
