Job Summary

Bernales & Associates is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting management information systems, preparing and analyzing reports, maintaining accurate data, and assisting with compliance, audit, and risk assessment activities.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, while candidates with relevant experience—particularly in a collections company or BPO environment—are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, consolidate, and maintain accurate MIS reports and operational data.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports to support management decision-making.
• Collect, validate, and analyze data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain and update databases, reporting files, and other management information systems.
• Assist in monitoring compliance-related data and documentation.
• Support internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews through data gathering and report preparation.
• Identify data discrepancies, reporting issues, and potential risks, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure timely submission of reports and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with different departments to gather and validate required information.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Assist in improving reporting processes and automating repetitive tasks where applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of company and business data.
• Perform other MIS, reporting, compliance, and administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using compliance software or management information systems is an advantage.
• Experience in audits and risk assessments is preferred.
• Experience in a collections company is highly preferred.
• Experience in a BPO or similar fast-paced environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of collections-related regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Can work independently while also being an effective team player.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic experience in MIS, data analysis, reporting, compliance, audit, or risk management is an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and data organization, are a plus.
• Experience handling operational or collections-related reports is preferred.
• Familiarity with compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting is an advantage.
