As a Mission Integration Engineer, you will be a key player in shaping the future of GEOINT and SIGINT ground systems by engaging with stakeholders, collaborating with representatives from various agencies, identifying system requirements, and developing innovative architecture solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of mission needs, ground processing, and the TCPED process. You will operate within the customer’s Chief Architect’s Office, enabling enterprise-level alignment and ensuring mission success.

In this role, job duties will include

  • Perform assessments of mission needs and evaluate architectural solutions to develop strategies that enable advanced capabilities.
  • Define, develop, and implement enterprise ground architectures to meet evolving operational and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with government acquisition teams to provide innovative technical solutions that address mission-critical challenges.
  • Oversee and harmonize integration activities across multiple acquisitions and System Program Offices (SPOs) to align with enterprise objectives and mission requirements.
  • Provide expertise and advisement to align ground system developments with TCPED processes and operational realities.
  • Assess the impacts of architectural and programmatic changes to existing and future mission capabilities and recommend solutions that align with long-term enterprise goals.
  • Actively contributes to the customer’s strategic initiatives to enhance its system engineering rigor and technical processes.
  • Provide concise and effective communication on program achievements, challenges, and milestones to senior government officials and other stakeholders.

Qualifications Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics) or equivalent; and nine (9) years or more of relevant experience. Advanced degrees may substitute for years of experience (Master’s degree with seven (7) years or Ph.D. or JD with four (4) years).
  • Current and Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly.
  • Demonstrated experience with GEOINT or SIGINT intelligence disciplines, including knowledge of corresponding ground systems and operations.
  • In-depth understanding of ground processing systems and the Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) process.
  • Hands-on experience with system architecture development, integration, and optimization for mission-critical systems in an enterprise environment.
  • Practical experience assessing and developing high-level system requirements and mission-driven architecture solutions.
  • Proven ability to engage collaboratively and productively across multiple organizations, including unified Combatant Commands (CCMDs) and intelligence stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and briefing skills, with experience engaging senior government leaders and interagency representatives.
