Duties

• Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, flood, mold, and asbestos-related incidents, providing immediate mitigation services.
• Perform cleaning, drying, and debris removal using specialized equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and carpet cleaning machines.
• Conduct fire restoration tasks including soot removal and smoke odor mitigation while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with mold remediation and asbestos abatement projects following industry standards and safety guidelines.
• Operate company vehicles safely for on-call coverage and job site transportation.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and other safety gear during all mitigation activities.
• Document all work performed using Xactimate or similar estimating software for accurate reporting and billing purposes.
• Follow established safety protocols diligently to ensure personal safety and that of team members during all restoration activities.
• Maintain a clean work environment by performing thorough cleaning of affected areas post-mitigation.
• Collaborate with clients professionally to provide excellent customer service throughout the restoration process.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration, flood response, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement techniques.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection standards.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles during on-call coverage.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts to respond to emergencies promptly.
• Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks such as lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
