Mitigation Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Technician to join our team. As part of our mitigation crew, you’ll be responsible for restoring properties after fire, water, or mold damage, ensuring they’re prepared for reconstruction. This is a hands-on, physical role that requires an eye for detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Cleaning and restoring structural items, personal belongings, and smoke-damaged contents
• Drying structures after water damage using air movers and dehumidifiers
• Basic tool usage for removing damaged flooring and drywall (limited demolition)
• Packing up and moving personal belongings to our warehouse for cleaning, storage, and return
• Working with insurance claims to document and handle contents for cleaning and restoration
• Following safety protocols and ensuring high standards of quality in all work performed
• On-call after hours for emergency services on a rotating basis (overtime pay available)

Requirements:

• Clean cut, hard-working, and dependable
• Valid Missouri Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. overhead
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing, as well as a criminal background check
• Previous experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction is a plus, but not required – paid training & certifications provided
