I’m working with a rapidly growing deep-tech company developing high-bandwidth optical communication systems for space .

They’re looking for a Mixed-Signal Engineer to develop the electronics sitting between their photonics hardware and digital processing architecture.

This is a hands-on hardware role focused on designing extremely high-performance, low-noise electronics where signal integrity and implementation loss have a direct impact on system performance.

You’ll work across:

• High-speed analogue and mixed-signal electronics

• ADCs / DACs

• Photodiode receivers and TIAs

• Laser and optical component drivers

• FPGA / digital interfaces

• High-speed PCB design

• Signal integrity and power integrity

• Low-noise analogue design

• Hardware bring-up, testing and debugging

I’m particularly interested in speaking with engineers coming from optical communications, telecom, RF, photonics, high-speed data acquisition, aerospace electronics or semiconductor hardware .

Experience with SERDES, high-speed converters, low-noise analogue design and photonic interfaces would be especially valuable.
