We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled Service Well Mixologist / Bartender to join our team. This position is focused primarily on producing high-quality cocktails for our dining room during busy dinner service.

The ideal candidate is an experienced bartender who can craft cocktails to a very high standard while maintaining speed, consistency, accuracy, and presentation during high-volume service. You must be comfortable receiving multiple drink tickets at once, prioritizing large orders, and keeping the service well moving efficiently without sacrificing quality.

This is not an entry-level bartending position. We are looking for someone with strong cocktail knowledge, excellent organization, and the ability to remain composed and efficient during a busy dinner rush.

Service well bartenders are tipped out by the waitstaff for drinks prepared for dining room service.

Duties

• Prepare cocktails for dining room guests through the service well quickly, accurately, and consistently
• Handle multiple tickets and large drink orders during high-volume dinner service
• Craft classic and specialty cocktails to a high standard of taste, presentation, and consistency
• Follow established recipes, proper measurements, garnishes, glassware, and presentation standards
• Maintain excellent ticket times while ensuring drink quality is never compromised
• Communicate effectively with servers and other bartenders to keep service running smoothly
• Prioritize and organize drink tickets efficiently during peak periods
• Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups, mixers, and other ingredients needed for service
• Keep the service well fully stocked, clean, and organized throughout the shift
• Monitor inventory and communicate when liquor, mixers, garnishes, or other supplies need to be replenished
• Operate Toast POS and properly manage incoming drink orders
• Follow all responsible alcohol service, sanitation, and food safety requirements
• Assist with bar setup, breakdown, cleaning, and restocking before and after service
• Maintain consistency even when producing a high volume of cocktails in a short period of time

Qualifications

• Previous high-volume bartending or service well experience required
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, modern cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and proper beverage preparation
• Must be capable of producing multiple cocktails simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and presentation
• Ability to handle large drink orders and a consistently busy ticket rail during dinner service
• Strong understanding of proper pours, measurements, shaking, stirring, building, muddling, garnishing, and cocktail presentation
• Experience with Toast POS preferred
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Ability to work quickly under pressure without sacrificing quality
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with servers, bartenders, and management
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and food safety standards
• TIPS certification preferred
• Fine dining, upscale restaurant, craft cocktail, or high-volume restaurant experience strongly preferred
• Weekend and evening availability required

Compensation

This is a tipped service well position. In addition to the position's hourly wage, Service Well Mixologists / Bartenders receive tip-outs from waitstaff for beverages prepared for dining room service.

What We're Looking For

We need someone who understands that being a successful service well bartender requires both speed and skill. During dinner service, you may receive several tickets at once containing multiple cocktails. You must be able to organize those orders, execute them efficiently, and send out consistently well-made drinks.

We are looking for someone who can be relied on during a heavy dinner rush not someone who sacrifices quality when the ticket rail fills up.

Pay: $10.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
