Mixologist

Job Duties:

• Mixing drinks: make syrups, infusions, tinctures, mixed drinks and cocktails of all types to fulfil customer orders.
• Prepare all drink garnishes and keep the garnish station continuously stocked during shifts.
• Day to day running of the bar including opening and closing duties.
• Design new beverage menu items.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized, maintaining all sanitation standards of the business and local food and beverage laws.
• Maintain alcohol inventory - filling out inventory forms in order to replace items required.
• Responsible for keeping the bar well stocked/fully supplied with alcohol & soft drinks.
• At all times, adhere to liquor license laws regarding alcohol consumption by checking customer identification and cutting off customers who have had too much to drink.
• Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for guests.
• Create an operating environment that assures consistent guest satisfaction through exceptional service standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of experience in busy cocktail bars.
• Passionate about what you do & delivering the highest levels of service with a desire to learn.
• Good cocktail and spirit knowledge, wine knowledge is a plus.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have a good judgment and a responsible attitude when serving alcohol.
• Willingness and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
