Mixologist

Job Summary

Report In Pub is seeking a skilled and personable Mixologist to prepare high-quality cocktails and beverages while providing attentive service to guests. This position will work behind the bar in a busy neighborhood pub, combining beverage knowledge, creativity, speed, and strong customer service to create a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, specialty drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Follow established recipes while applying strong knowledge of cocktail preparation and presentation.
• Interact with guests, answer beverage questions, and provide recommendations when appropriate.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked bar throughout each shift.
• Monitor beverage and bar-supply inventory and communicate replenishment needs.
• Maintain consistent drink quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Process guest orders and payments accurately.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including bar setup and cleanup.
• Follow responsible alcohol-service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Work efficiently during high-volume service periods while maintaining friendly guest service.
• Support other restaurant team members when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, mixology, or beverage-service experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy bar environment.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

About The Company

Report In Pub is a full-service neighborhood bar and kitchen in West Omaha. Located at 12100 W Center Road, the pub offers burgers, wings, brunch, cocktails, beer, daily specials, and its signature Giant Bloody Mary. The bar features a full liquor selection, 20+ beers on tap, and an extensive cocktail menu.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.0 per week
