Mixologist

Job Summary
Taphouse Pub & Eatery in Downtown Boise is seeking a skilled Mixologist to prepare quality cocktails and beverages while providing attentive, efficient guest service. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of drinks and spirits, maintains a clean workstation, and can stay composed during busy restaurant and bar service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established standards.
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests at the bar and service area.
• Maintain consistent drink quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Keep the bar station clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Monitor beverage inventory and communicate restocking needs.
• Process guest orders, checks, and payments accurately.
• Verify identification and follow responsible alcohol-service procedures.
• Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management during busy periods.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily bar side work.
• Respond professionally to guest questions and service concerns.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or mixology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Able to multitask efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Good attention to detail and drink presentation.
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling bar equipment.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet applicable Idaho requirements for alcohol service.

The establishment features an extensive draft selection and serves guests throughout lunch, dinner, and evening service.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
