Mixologist

We are seeking a personable and skilled Mixologist/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for creating exceptional drinks and delivering outstanding customer service in a lively bar environment. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible serving practices.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately
• Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, adhering to licensing laws and company policies
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote special events or promotions

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail preparation, and presentation skills
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and measurement of ingredients
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and stocked efficiently
• Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills
• A responsible attitude towards alcohol service, including adherence to legal age restrictions and safety protocols
