Mixologist

The Mixologist is responsible for creating and serving high-quality cocktails, mocktails, and specialty beverages while providing excellent customer service. This role involves developing creative drink recipes, maintaining beverage quality, managing bar supplies, and ensuring a clean and organized bar area. The ideal candidate has strong beverage knowledge, creativity, and the ability to deliver an enjoyable guest experience in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wine, and specialty beverages.
• Develop creative drink recipes using fresh fruits, herbs, syrups, and quality ingredients.
• Create seasonal beverages and contribute ideas for menu development.
• Maintain consistent drink quality, flavor, presentation, and portion sizes.
• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.
• Recommend beverages based on guest preferences and menu selections.
• Explain drink ingredients, flavors, and preparation methods when requested.
• Follow established recipes and use accurate ingredient measurements.
• Monitor beverage inventory and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.
• Assist with ordering spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies.
• Control beverage costs and minimize ingredient waste.
• Operate POS systems and process customer payments accurately.
• Verify customer identification and age when legally required.
• Follow responsible alcohol-service practices and applicable regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar counters, glassware, tools, and equipment.
• Follow food-safety, hygiene, and workplace-safety procedures.
• Coordinate with bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, and restaurant management.
• Complete bar setup, restocking, opening, and closing duties.
• Stay informed about beverage trends and suggest new drink ideas.
• Report inventory shortages, equipment issues, and operational concerns to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience as a Mixologist, Bartender, or Beverage Specialist preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, mocktails, and beverage preparation.
• Creativity in developing appealing drinks and flavor combinations.
• Excellent drink-mixing, presentation, and customer-service skills.
• Knowledge of fresh ingredients, garnishes, syrups, and beverage measurements.
• Familiarity with POS systems and payment-processing procedures.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and applicable regulations.
• Knowledge of bar sanitation and equipment maintenance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Pay: $24.26 - $29.21 per hour
