Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with precision and flair.
• Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep menus fresh and exciting, incorporating current trends in mixology and craft brewing.
• Engage with guests proactively to recommend drinks, answer questions about ingredients, and enhance their overall experience through exceptional customer service.
• Manage bar inventory efficiently by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste while maintaining quality standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and swiftly.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations; handle food safely during drink preparation when applicable.
• Assist in bar management tasks including scheduling, training new staff, and ensuring smooth operations during busy hours.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining environment.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage presentation techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality service.
• Experience in food service or hospitality industry roles that emphasize customer engagement and teamwork.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus for managing large groups or special events.
