About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to drive cross-functional programs from concept through production and customer delivery. This role will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and external manufacturing partners to ensure projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong program management skills, experience in NPI and manufacturing environments, and the ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are achieved.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, risk registers, action item trackers, and status reports.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks.

New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Coordinate NPI activities across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing.
• Drive EVT, DVT, PVT, and production readiness reviews.
• Ensure supplier readiness, material availability, and manufacturing preparedness to support launch schedules.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular project reviews and executive status updates.
• Align priorities and drive timely decision-making across global teams.

Supply Chain & Operations Support

• Partner with Procurement and Planning teams to manage material readiness and supply risks.
• Work with contract manufacturers and suppliers to support project execution.
• Coordinate issue resolution related to delivery, quality, cost, and schedule.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Track project KPIs, milestones, and key dependencies.
• Support process improvements to enhance project execution efficiency and scalability.
• Establish and maintain project management best practices.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of project management or program management experience in technology, semiconductor, networking, optical communications, electronics manufacturing, or related industries.
• Experience leading NPI programs from development through mass production.
• Experience working with global cross-functional teams and contract manufacturers.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong project planning, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with product development and manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Optical Transceivers, Optical Networking, Silicon Photonics, AEC (Active Electrical Cable), or Data Center products.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM), ERP, and supply chain systems.
• Experience supporting global customers and international teams.
• Act as the central program leader for Optical Transceiver, Optical DSP, and Silicon Photonics product development and commercialization programs.
