Seeking for a Junior/Mid-Level Databricks Engineer to join a short-term project focused on scaling an existing Databricks Genie Space with data from additional production plants.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining data engineering, MLOps and data quality, with a strong focus on making sure new plant data is production-ready and usable within an existing chatbot environment.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding new production plant data sources into Databricks
• Developing and validating Bronze / Silver / Gold ETL pipelines
• Performing data investigations and quality assessments
• Using Python, PySpark and SQL for data processing and analysis
• Refining a Databricks Genie Space with plant-specific context and business logic
• Troubleshooting and debugging data/pipeline issues
• Working with Git, CI/CD and unit testing
• Supporting the implementation of a simple Python-based dashboard
• Ensuring new datasets are healthy, reliable and ready for production use

Requirements

Must-have:

• Strong Python skills
• Hands-on PySpark experience
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Experience working with Databricks
• Understanding of ETL/data pipelines
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and unit testing
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging mindset
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Experience within manufacturing
• Exposure to MES (Manufacturing Execution System) data
• Previous experience with Databricks Genie / AI-enabled data platforms
