The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Mobile App Developer to build and maintain our iOS and Android applications. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to deliver secure, reliable, and intuitive mobile experiences for clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile development: Build, maintain, and improve iOS and Android applications, taking features from requirements through production release.
• User experience: Translate designs and clinical workflows into responsive, accessible interfaces that work reliably in busy care settings.
• Platform integration: Integrate backend APIs, Firebase services, and AI-powered features, including audio capture, transcription, clinical documentation, push notifications, and data synchronization.
• Architecture and code quality: Develop maintainable application architecture, write reusable code, participate in code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
• Performance and reliability: Improve application speed, stability, battery usage, and behavior under poor connectivity; troubleshoot crashes and production issues.
• Security and privacy: Implement secure authentication, appropriate device permissions, and safeguards for sensitive patient information across storage and transmission.
• Testing and releases: Develop appropriate automated tests, support quality assurance, manage App Store and Google Play releases, and monitor application performance after deployment.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and shipping production mobile applications, with contributions to iOS and Android delivery.
• Hands-on experience using Firebase to support production mobile applications, including authentication, database integration, push notifications, crash reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, or a cross-platform framework such as Flutter or React Native.
• Experience integrating APIs, authentication, local storage, and asynchronous application workflows.
• Understanding of mobile architecture, platform design guidelines, testing, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, CI/CD, and mobile app release processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to own deliverables in a small team.

• Healthcare applications or products handling sensitive information.
• Audio recording, streaming, speech recognition, or real-time communication.
• AI-powered mobile features and services.
• Offline functionality, background processing, and reliable data synchronization.

Pay: ₦500,000.00 - ₦1,200,000.00 per month
