Mobile App Engineer / Mobile App Developer

Role Description

We are looking for a Mobile App Engineer / Mobile App Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The role involves working closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining mobile applications, implementing new features, integrating APIs and third-party services, and optimizing application performance, stability, and usability. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, identifying and resolving bugs, conducting functional and performance testing, and ensuring applications meet defined quality and security requirements.

The role may involve working with native or cross-platform technologies, participating in application architecture and technical design, managing app releases, and supporting integration with backend systems and external services. Developers will also contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, continuous improvement, and the adoption of modern mobile development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mobile application development principles, software architecture, and programming concepts.
• Proficiency in technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, Dart, Flutter, React Native, or other relevant mobile development frameworks.
• Familiarity with iOS and/or Android development environments, SDKs, APIs, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, databases, authentication, and integration with backend services.
• Understanding of Git, version control, debugging, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles, responsive layouts, performance optimization, and application security.
• Familiarity with App Store and Google Play deployment processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to code quality, maintainability, usability, and application performance.
• Proactive mindset with an interest in emerging mobile technologies and continuous improvement.
