What they need
- Test mobile applications on Android and iOS.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and usability testing.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs/issues.
- Verify that bugs have been fixed through retesting.
- Test new features and app releases before deployment.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to investigate issues.
- Perform testing across different devices, operating systems, screen sizes, and app versions.
- Maintain clear documentation of test results and defects.
- Help improve QA processes and introduce test automation/AI-driven testing where appropriate.
- Ensure the app provides a reliable and smooth experience for customers.
Skills commonly required
Experience with mobile application testing.
Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Postman, Appium, Selenium, or similar QA tools.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with developers and product teams in an Agile environment.
