Mobile Application Tester

Job Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile applications (iOS and Android using React Native).

• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Utilize mobile automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, and UI Automator.

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and early defect detection.

• Use Jira for defect tracking, sprint planning, and reporting.

• Apply AI-powered testing tools (for example, Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate test creation and maintenance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop new features.

• Implement security best practices in test automation and ensure mobile applications comply with security and privacy standards.

• Work within Agile methodologies and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Work Experience

Required

• 4 to 8 years of experience in mobile automation testing.

• Hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, and UI Automator.

• Proficiency in API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.

• Experience working with cloud-based device farms such as BrowserStack.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.

Additional Skills

• Embedded firmware validation and debugging.

• Hardware-software integration testing.

• Communication protocol testing (BLE, WiFi, MQTT).

• Firmware upgrade and OTA testing.

• End-to-end testing of mobile applications interacting with embedded and IoT devices.
