What You'll Do

As a CarLoop Mobile Service Technician, you'll perform professional automotive maintenance and mechanical repairs while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Typical services include:

• Oil Changes & Preventive Maintenance
• Brake Service
• Battery Testing & Replacement
• Alternators & Starters
• Suspension & Steering Repairs
• Cooling System Repairs
• Spark Plugs & Tune-Ups
• Check Engine Light Diagnosis
• Diagnostic Scanning
• Minor Mechanical Repairs
• Vehicle Health Inspections
• Pre-Purchase Inspections

Every day is different. You'll travel throughout the Raleigh area, solve customer problems, and provide dealership-quality service without the dealership experience.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys fixing cars and helping people.

You don't need to know everything—but you should be confident diagnosing common vehicle concerns and completing repairs independently.

The ideal candidate:

• Has 3–5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• Has solid mechanical knowledge across multiple makes and models
• Can diagnose common drivability and check engine light concerns
• Uses professional scan tools comfortably
• Works well without constant supervision
• Communicates professionally with customers
• Takes pride in doing the job right the first time
• Shows up on time and takes ownership of their work

Qualifications

Required

• 3–5+ years of automotive repair experience
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience using professional diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service skills

Preferred

• ASE Certifications
• Mobile service experience
• Experience with domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
