Mobile Cleaning Operative

Pay: £14.00 per hour
Hours: 20–37.5 contracted hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Days: 3–5 days per week
Shift times: Early starts from 4:00am, finishing by approximately 2:00pm
Vehicle: Company vehicle provided
Travel: Travel time between sites is paid

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and self-motivated Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team on a permanent contracted basis.

This is a mobile role covering multiple cleaning sites each day. There is a significant amount of driving involved, so applicants must be confident and comfortable driving for approximately 3–5 hours per day.

A company vehicle is provided, and all travel time between cleaning sites is paid at your normal hourly rate.

Hours & Shift Pattern

This is a permanent position with 20–37.5 contracted hours per week, working approximately 3–5 days per week.

Shifts involve early morning starts from 4:00am, with shifts normally finishing by approximately 2:00pm, depending on the day's route and workload.

Applicants must be comfortable with early starts and be reliable enough to consistently arrive ready for work at the required start time.

The Role

You will travel between a number of sites each day, carrying out scheduled cleaning to a consistently high standard.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
• Cleaning sinks, surfaces, doors and touchpoints
• Emptying bins and replacing liners
• Replenishing toilet rolls, soap and other consumables
• Removing cobwebs and dust
• Keeping cleaning cupboards organised
• Completing site cleaning checklists
• Signing in and out at each location
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage or low stock
• Ensuring every site is left clean, tidy and ready for visitors

Driving & Travel

This is not a single-site cleaning position. A significant part of the working day involves travelling between locations.

Applicants must:

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Be confident driving a company vehicle
• Be comfortable with approximately 3–5 hours of driving per day
• Be comfortable driving on rural and country roads
• Be able to manage a route and arrive at sites on time

All travel time between cleaning sites is paid.

Cleaning Standards

We have high cleaning standards, and these standards must be maintained consistently across every site.

You will be provided with clear cleaning checklists and expectations for each location. These must be followed and completed on every visit.

We need somebody who takes pride in their work, notices the small details and can be trusted to maintain standards without constant supervision.
