Job Summary

Heb Cleaning & Hygiene is looking for a reliable and hardworking Mobile Cleaner to join our team, supporting the delivery of professional cleaning services across Teesside and the surrounding areas.

This is a flexible, zero-hours position involving cleaning duties across a variety of locations, including offices and residential housing developments. Working primarily alongside another member of our cleaning team, the successful candidate will help maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments for our clients and their customers.

Role Overview

As a Mobile Cleaner, you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning duties across a variety of client locations, ensuring all areas are maintained to the required standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.

Working primarily alongside another member of staff, you will support cleaning operations across office environments and residential housing developments throughout the Teesside area.

The role requires flexibility, reliability and a willingness to travel between different locations as required. You will be expected to work safely, follow site-specific instructions and represent Heb Group professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Vacuum and mop corridors, offices and communal areas, ensuring all surfaces are maintained to a high standard.
• Dust and wipe desks, furniture, fixtures and frequently touched surfaces.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms and associated facilities.
• Clean and maintain hard floor surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste correctly in accordance with site procedures.
• Replenish soap, paper products and other washroom consumables where required.
• Use cleaning products, chemicals and equipment safely in accordance with COSHH guidance and company procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, hazards or defective equipment to the appropriate manager.
• Follow all Heb Group policies, site procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
• Complete allocated cleaning tasks efficiently and within agreed timescales.
• Work collaboratively with other cleaning team members to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach when working at client premises.
• Travel between allocated cleaning locations across Teesside and surrounding areas as required.
• Represent Heb Group professionally at all times.
• Undertake any other cleaning duties reasonably required within the scope of the role.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Flexible approach to working hours and locations.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience working in a commercial or professional cleaning environment.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe cleaning practices.
• Experience cleaning offices, residential developments or communal areas.
• Familiarity with professional cleaning equipment and products.
• Previous experience working in a mobile cleaning role.
