Mobile cover cleaner/ area supervisor

we are looking for a mobile cover /area supervisor to work 40 hrs per week. day will be split shift as most cleaning is carried out off normal opening hours - Early morning and late evenings will be expected. Company van will be supplied

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mobile Cover Cleaner/Area Supervisor to lead our cleaning operations across south Yorkshire areas. This role combines hands-on cleaning responsibilities with supervisory duties to ensure all spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. As a key leader, you will oversee daily cleaning activities, manage a team of janitorial staff, and uphold operational excellence within a dynamic environment. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning tasks across assorted site, ensuring timely and thorough completion of all duties
• Lead, train, and motivate janitorial staff to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety protocols
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to verify quality standards are met and identify areas for improvement
• Manage cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and equipment maintenance to optimize operational efficiency
• Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Collaborate with management to develop cleaning procedures that align with cleaning industry standards

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within commercial or hospitality settings
• Supervising or management experience in a cleaning or housekeeping environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety protocols
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management
