Position: Mobile Cover Security Officer
Location: Various Sites Across Northern Ireland
Hours: Guaranteed Minimum 42 Hours per Week
Rate of Pay: £14.50 per hour
Overtime: Additional Hours Available
Annual Leave: 28 Days

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a professional, reliable and flexible Mobile Cover Security Officer to support our operations across Northern Ireland.

This is a varied and responsible position for an officer who enjoys working across different locations and environments. The successful candidate will provide operational security cover across a range of client sites, with the majority of duties involving retail security, alongside gatehouse, access control, static security and other general security requirements.
The role offers a guaranteed minimum of 42 hours per week, with additional overtime opportunities available.
Most shifts will average approximately 8 hours, with occasional 12-hour shifts available depending on operational requirements. The position is predominantly daytime and evening based, with most shifts finishing by 9:00 PM.

Please note: applicants must hold a valid SIA licence and full UK driving licence.

• Comfortable working across retail, gatehouse, access control and other security environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing professional security cover across multiple client locations throughout Northern Ireland
• Acting as a visible security presence and deterrent, particularly within retail environments
• Conducting internal and external patrols
• Supporting loss prevention and helping to reduce theft and other security risks
• Meeting and greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Providing excellent customer service to clients, staff and members of the public
• Liaising regularly with store/site management and reporting relevant security findings
• Responding professionally to incidents and de-escalating challenging situations
• Liaising with Police and other emergency services when required
• Completing accurate incident reports and all required daily/site-specific documentation
• Providing gatehouse and access control duties where required
• Covering staff absence, annual leave and other operational requirements
• Completing all required client and Bidvest Noonan training
• Adhering to site procedures, company policies and client requirements
• Maintaining a smart and professional appearance in company uniform
• Working independently and using initiative while maintaining communication with the operational management team
• Travelling between client locations and adapting to changing operational requirements

This position would suit an experienced Security Officer who enjoys variety and is comfortable taking responsibility for providing a consistently high standard of service across different client locations.
