Mobile Crane Technical Support

Position Summary

We are seeking an expert in Pick & Carry Crane repairs, service and operations to join our team.
This role provides phone and face to face technical support for our customers and the internal business.
A unique opportunity for trade qualified Franna Crane enthusiasts to work with a Global Leader.

Responsibilities

• Assist with enquiries and provide technical support and service to customers.
• Ensuring technical support questions are answered in a timely manner.
• Ensuring operator familiarisation is completed thoroughly and consistently to minimise new machine technical problems.
• Provide internal technical support and feedback /recommendations to the development and upgrade of the Franna models.
• Ability to carry out offsite repairs as well as provide after-hours service to customers through participating in the after-hours product support roster.
• Technical training of internal staff and customers.
• Any other duties as directed.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with a range of Franna Crane products and deep product knowledge.
• Trade qualified (Mobile Plant/Diesel Fitter).
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems and schematics.
• Reviewing technical problems in detail with the ability to fault find.
• Experience with crane operation and rigging.
• Customer focused with ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Ability to work in both the office and field environments and be deadline focused.
• Permanent working rights within Australia.
