In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you will provide services throughout the community, delivering immediate support, conducting initial assessments, and collaborating with individuals and their families to develop effective crisis plans. No two shifts are ever the same- each day brings new opportunities to make a meaningful impact. On weekends, staff members are based out the Bright Path Center in Doylestown. Weekday shifts are based out of our Lower Bucks County location in Bristol, PA

What You Bring

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, gerontology, criminal justice, theology, nursing, or counseling; or be a registered nurse
• At least two years of experience in human services, with one year in direct mental health care
  • PREFERRED: At least one year’s experience in a drug and alcohol setting
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in computer use; experience with EHR systems preferred
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodation

Your Role

• Monitor and respond to the mobile crisis line
• Provide triage, crisis counseling, information, and referrals via phone
• Conduct face-to-face level-of-care assessments in a team setting
• Deliver in-person crisis counseling and develop crisis plans
• Process involuntary commitment applications and coordinate emergency psychiatric evaluations as needed
