About the Position

31 Auto Detailing is an established mobile automotive detailing company expanding into mobile cosmetic wheel and curb rash repair. We’re looking for a skilled, reliable technician to help us launch and grow this new service.

This is a mobile position. You’ll travel to customers throughout North Jersey to perform cosmetic wheel repairs at their homes, workplaces, or other convenient locations.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works independently, and is interested in growing with our company.

Responsibilities

Perform cosmetic curb rash repairs on alloy wheels.

Repair wheel scratches, scuffs, scrapes, and minor cosmetic gouges.

Sand, smooth, fill, paint, and refinish damaged areas.

Achieve a professional finish with appropriate color matching.

Travel to customer locations throughout North Jersey.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional mobile workspace.

Document completed repairs with before-and-after photos.

Deliver excellent workmanship and customer service.

Qualifications

Experience in cosmetic wheel repair, curb rash repair, or automotive refinishing preferred.

Experience with sanding, surface preparation, painting, and clear-coat application.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and manage appointments efficiently.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Professional communication and customer-service skills.

Dependability, patience, and a willingness to grow with the company.

Candidates with automotive bodywork or refinishing experience are also encouraged to apply, even if they have not specialized exclusively in curb rash repair.

Our Specialty

We focus specifically on cosmetic wheel restoration, including curb rash, scratches, scuffs, and minor cosmetic damage.

This position does not involve structural wheel repair, bent-wheel straightening, or welding cracked wheels.
