Shift Pattern: Mainly night shifts, with occasional day shifts

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and professional Mobile Driver to join our security team in Grimsby.

The role involves travelling between multiple sites and carrying out a range of security duties, including site unlocks, lock-ups, regular site patrols and responding to alarm activations.

This is a physically active role and requires someone who is comfortable working independently, driving between locations and walking significant distances during each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled site unlocks and lock-ups.
• Conduct regular security patrols of assigned sites.
• Respond promptly and professionally to alarm activations.
• Drive between multiple sites as required.
• Check premises and report any security concerns, damage or incidents.
• Maintain accurate records and complete relevant reports.
• Follow company procedures and security protocols.
• Communicate effectively with the control room and management team.
• Ensure all duties are carried out safely and professionally.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or SIA Security Guarding (Manned Guarding) licence.
• Physically fit and capable of walking up to 10 miles during a night shift.
• Comfortable working predominantly night shifts.
• Able to work independently and use initiative.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Good communication skills.
• A responsible attitude towards security and the safety of client premises.
• Previous security experience is desirable.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be dependable, physically fit and able to work confidently on their own. You will need to be comfortable working nights, driving between sites and carrying out lengthy patrols in a variety of conditions.

This position would suit someone with previous mobile security, key-holding, patrol or response experience, although applicants who meet the essential requirements and demonstrate the right attitude will be considered.
