Salary: £34,000-£36,500 + Company Van
Location: Bishops Stortford, Braintree, Ipswich (East Region and Essex)

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Fabric Engineer to join our maintenance team on a retail contract in Braintree.

• The Maintenance Technician would be responsible for General plumbing / leaks etc
• Tap Water Temp testing
• Low use outlet flushing
• General repairs to flooring of different types
• Re-setting bollards / posts or installing them
• Repair / replace locks and digi locks
• Emergency light (flick tests) from local key switches
• Replacing ceiling tiles
• Repair minor brickwork
• Repair / replace fencing
• Painting
• Minor plastering
• Replacing signage
• Installing minor items like mirrors, hand towel dispensers etc
• Work at height, help set up access towers or work off steps
• Minor furniture repair now and then
• General repairs

Additional NVQ and qualification training will be available once probation is cleared.

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven building maintenance experience
• Previously working in commercial environments
• Recognised NVQ Level 2 in a building trade would be desirable
• Good Health & Safety awareness
• Experience of using a handheld device (PDA)
