About the Role

As a Mobile Maintenance Technician, you will serve as the primary technical expert for high-performance commercial laundry systems, ensuring operational uptime for a diverse range of institutional clients. You will leverage your mechanical and electrical expertise to diagnose complex issues, providing high-quality repairs that directly impact client satisfaction and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions in industrial laundry machinery to restore peak performance.
• Execute precise installations of replacement components to ensure long-term equipment reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive digital records of service history, parts usage, and diagnostic findings to optimize maintenance cycles.
• Foster strong professional relationships with facility managers through clear communication and expert technical guidance.
• Collaborate with internal logistics and parts teams to streamline the repair process and minimize equipment downtime.
• Manage the upkeep of your assigned service vehicle, specialized tools, and diagnostic equipment to maintain readiness.
• Support regional installation projects, contributing to the successful deployment of new laundry infrastructure.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical repair.
• Proven ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
• Proficiency with standard diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving kneeling, climbing, and bending.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience servicing commercial laundry or similar heavy-duty equipment.
• Strong computer literacy, specifically with MS Office and digital ticketing or dispatch software.
• Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles requiring high levels of professional communication.
• Self-motivated mindset with the ability to manage a mobile service territory independently.
