Mobile Mechanic

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mobile Mechanic to join our team. This role involves providing on-site repair and maintenance services for a variety of equipment and vehicles at client locations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters, and the ability to work independently in dynamic environments. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting while delivering high-quality service directly at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments of equipment and vehicles on-site to identify mechanical or electrical issues
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting efficiently to minimize downtime
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality
• Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and issues identified for each job
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair needs, timelines, and safety procedures
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
• Manage inventory of tools and parts needed for mobile repairs to ensure readiness for service calls

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic, with a focus on mobile or on-site repair work preferred
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools including ohmmeters and multimeters
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose issues in diverse equipment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus
