Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Mobile Pharmacist to join our healthcare team, delivering essential pharmacy services directly to patients in various clinical settings. Duties

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately while adhering to all safety protocols and legal regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to review patient medication plans and optimize therapy effectiveness
• Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions to promote adherence
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and current medications
• Administer medications in clinical or emergency settings when required, ensuring precise dosage and documentation
• Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensed, patient interactions, and clinical notes for compliance and quality assurance
• Travel between designated locations to deliver pharmacy services efficiently, ensuring timely patient care delivery

Skills

• Proven experience working in ICU settings or other acute care environments demonstrating advanced clinical skills
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to understand complex medication interactions
• Expertise in medication administration techniques across various routes (oral, intravenous, intramuscular, etc.)
• Exceptional patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse populations
• Ability to work independently in a mobile setting while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and electronic health records for documentation purposes
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing environments and prioritize patient needs effectively

Pay: £26.00-£28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 37.5 per week
