Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Mobile Phlebotomist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide vital blood collection services directly at patients’ locations, ensuring accurate specimen collection and exceptional patient care. Your expertise will help facilitate timely laboratory testing, contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. PAID PER EXAM EVERY FRIDAY DIRECT DEPOSIT. MUST HAVE A PRINTER FOR PAPER WORK.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures efficiently and safely at various patient sites, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and private residences
• Ensure proper specimen collection, handling, labeling, and transportation in accordance with laboratory protocols and safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and specimen details using electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
• Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout the process
• Adhere to infection control practices using aseptic techniques and maintain a sterile environment during specimen collection
• Assist with vital signs measurement, patient care activities, and basic physiology assessments as needed
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary to transport supplies or specimens safely

Qualifications

• Proven experience in laboratory procedures, techniques, or medical laboratory work with a focus on phlebotomy or specimen collection
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to blood sampling and patient care
• Certification in phlebotomy or related field preferred; relevant training in venipuncture and blood sampling required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
• Prior hospital or clinical laboratory experience highly desirable
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for data entry and documentation accuracy
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatrics
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in various environments requiring physical stamina
