Mobile Phlebotomist

We are seeking dependable and professional Mobile Phlebotomists to provide in-home specimen collection services for patients throughout San Diego County.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect other specimens from patients in their homes.
• Properly label, handle, package, and maintain specimens according to laboratory procedures.
• Deliver specimens to designated laboratory or drop-off locations, or prepare specimens for shipment as instructed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of collections and patient visits.
• Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, laboratory staff, and coordinators.
• Follow infection control, safety, and specimen-handling requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and valid California phlebotomy certification/license (CPT).
• Previous phlebotomy experience required; mobile phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently in a mobile/field environment.
• Basic computer and mobile-device proficiency.
• Professional, dependable, and able to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Mobile Position Requirements

This is a mobile position and requires regular driving between patient locations. Candidates must:

• Have a reliable personal vehicle.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Have a reliable smartphone (iPhone preferred).
• Reside in or be willing to regularly travel throughout San Diego County.

Patient volume and daily routes may vary based on patient appointments and service needs.

Only applicants who meet California phlebotomy certification requirements will be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
