Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Mobile Phone Technician to join our stores in Fareham and Chichester store.

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mobile devices. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic components, computer hardware, and networking systems. The ideal applicant will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical expertise within the telecommunications industry.

Duties :

• Diagnose faults in mobile phones and related electronic devices using schematics and diagnostic tools
• Repair or replace faulty components, including screens, batteries, and internal circuitry
• Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment to perform repairs with precision
• Conduct routine maintenance on mobile devices to ensure optimal performance
• Assist with computer hardware repairs and troubleshooting as needed
• Reassemble devices carefully, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and functioning
• Test repaired devices thoroughly to confirm proper operation before returning to customers
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment at all times

Key Skills & Experience Requirements

• Proven experience in mobile phone repair or a related technical role (essential)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Experience repairing Apple, Samsung and other major brands
• Mechanical understanding of electronic components and device assembly
• Proficiency using hand tools, schematics, and basic computer hardware diagnostics
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues
• Knowledge of computer repair, maintenance, and basic networking principles (desirable)
• Confident working independently and managing your own repair workload
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail/workshop environment
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration
• Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times

Pay: £24,420.00-£28,000.00 per year
