Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a Mobile QA to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of mobile applications. The role requires strong expertise in manual and automated testing, cross‑device validation, and test case creation/execution. The successful candidate will be hands‑on with Appium, Webdriver.io, BrowserStack, and TypeScript, while collaborating directly with clients and cross‑functional teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual functional testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS.
• Conduct manual cross‑device testing to validate compatibility and performance.
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test plans.
• Implement and manage automated testing frameworks using Appium and Webdriver.io.
• Utilize BrowserStack App Live + App Automate for device/browser testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and clients to ensure requirements are met.
• Apply Agile methodologies to manage testing cycles, sprints, and releases.
• Track issues, defects, and progress using Jira/Confluence or equivalent tools.
• Provide clear reporting and documentation of test results and quality metrics.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in mobile application testing (manual and automation)
• Must have Manual cross‑device testing expertise.
• Strong programming fundamentals with TypeScript for test automation.
• Hands‑on with Appium and Webdriver.io.
• Proficiency with BrowserStack App Live + App Automate.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Client‑facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with Jira/Confluence or equivalent issue/knowledge management tools.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams with developers, QA, and product owners.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clients
• Experience with Postman/Bruno for API testing is a plus

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
