Mobile Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) – Pittsburgh, PA

$30–$32/hour | Full-Time | 100% Mobile / Field-Based

We are hiring an ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a full-time mobile imaging opportunity serving the Greater Pittsburgh area.

This is a 100% mobile, field-based position—not remote. Travel to assigned healthcare locations using a company-provided vehicle to perform physician-ordered diagnostic imaging. Portable X-ray equipment, computer, phone, and necessary work equipment are also provided.

Experienced technologists and qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous mobile X-ray experience is not required.

Schedule

Preferred schedule is four 10-hour shifts, approximately 10:00 AM–8:30 PM . A five 8-hour schedule, approximately 10:00 AM–6:30 PM , may also be accommodated.

On-call rotation is approximately:

• One weeknight per week
• Every 5th–6th weekend
• 1–2 holidays per year

Responsibilities

• Perform portable/mobile radiographic examinations.
• Travel between assigned healthcare locations.
• Position patients and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Adjust technical factors based on patient and examination requirements.
• Follow ALARA and radiation-safety protocols .
• Verify orders and accurately document patient/study information.
• Coordinate with healthcare staff and patients.
• Independently manage daily mobile assignments.
• Maintain assigned imaging equipment and company vehicle.
• Perform EKG, Holter monitoring, pacemaker checks, and related procedures when trained and assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active ARRT certification
• Applicable state requirements/licensure
• Valid driver's license
• Strong patient-care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment

Training & Ride-Along

Previous mobile imaging experience is not required. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualified candidates may have the opportunity to complete a ride-along following the interview to experience the mobile environment firsthand.
