What You'll Be Doing As a Refrigeration Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigeration equipment across your designated stores, ensuring our systems remain reliable, compliant and operating at peak performance.

You'll

• Maintain and repair refrigeration assets including display cabinets, freezers, cold rooms, refrigeration packs, condensers and chillers.
• Diagnose faults using both your engineering expertise and remote monitoring platforms such as RDM and Monika.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Work closely with store colleagues to deliver excellent service and keep disruption to a minimum.
• Ensure all work complies with F-Gas requirements and Health & Safety standards.
• Complete digital reports and maintain accurate compliance records.

Essential What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent experience.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• Strong refrigeration fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently with a strong customer-focused approach.

Desirable

• Experience in commercial refrigeration, supermarket refrigeration, HVAC, transport refrigeration or air conditioning.
• Ex-Forces engineering background.
