Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software issues on various mobile devices such as Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
• Perform repairs including screen replacements, battery swaps, port repairs, and component replacements using hand tools.
• Troubleshoot operating systems (Android, iOS) and software problems to restore device functionality efficiently.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to identify faults and guide repair procedures accurately.
• Test repaired devices thoroughly to ensure optimal performance before returning them to customers.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and troubleshooting steps taken.
• Assist retail sales teams by providing technical support and product knowledge related to mobile devices and accessories.

Requirements

• Proven experience repairing mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets across multiple operating systems including Android and iOS.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems like macOS and Windows.
• Skilled in using hand tools for delicate repairs on small electronic components.
• Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting guides effectively.
• Excellent analysis skills to identify issues quickly and determine appropriate solutions.
• Familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques for mobile devices and computers.
• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus, demonstrating strong communication skills.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
